Message from recipient:
I am so excited to be a recipient of the Sien Lok society of Calgary career program award. I just want to say a big thank you for establishing such an award in Bow College. I am in the Practical Nurse program and so excited to soon be a nurse and make a difference in people’s life and the world at large. My future goals are to be a great nurse and to acquire more skills and education to be a Nurse educator. I am from West Africa (Cameroon). I am a Single mother with an awesome 4 year old that gives me hope every day, writing this letter even bring me tears into my eyes because of how she has motivated me to work hard and be where I am today. I could not have preferred anywhere else to pursue my career than Bow Valley College because of all the support you give me. I will forever remain grateful even after graduating from the college. May God give you the strength to continue making a difference in people’s life. Thank you so much!
